I'm preparing to grab some pictures of my local City over the winter and starting to scout the area and take some shots of locations using different compositions.  Today I was looking at 2 key landmarks in the City, the Norman Castle and the Market place.  I only had the opportunity to visit early in the morning with the sun low in the sky which resulted in lens flare when setting up a few compositions which suggested I need to give greater consideration to the time I take the final images and will look to visit the same site at sunrise and sun set.

I was also lucky enough to have a chance to compose a shot of the Castle and Market from within the City Hall using the windows as a frame.
